The Bridge to the City Fund
The SOE programs in New York City are powerful laboratories of urban and multi-cultural education and include the placement and mentoring of SOE student teachers in NYC public schools - including the Region 9, lower Manhattan High School for Leadership which the School of Education works with to improve the academic performance of its students and the professional development of its teachers and administrators. Gifts to this fund are essential to maintain this crucial link to our largest urban area. Funds are used for a variety of purposes included subsidizing the transportation and living expenses of our student teachers and providing the technology they need to remotely submit required work and receive faculty advisement from their "home school" in Syracuse.
