Department Research
The Department's research portfolio is strong and diverse. In recent years funding agencies that sponsor research within the Department include the National Institutes of Health, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Life Fitness and the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research, along with numerous foundations such as the Woodrow Wilson Foundation, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the American College of Sports Medicine.

Healthworks is an air-conditioned fitness facility located in the basement of Archbold gymnasium, and is open to all Faculty, Staff and Spouses of SU and ESF employees.
