Program Overview
This program is right for you, if…

You believe that all students deserve access to high quality classroom and social opportunities;

You want a degree that builds on the long and distinguished traditions of inclusive education and disability studies;

You hold an undergraduate degree in childhood education (grades 1 – 6) AND want to be prepared to work with students with disabilities in inclusive elementary classrooms;

You want a master’s program that meets the academic requirements for professional New York State certification in Students with Disabilities (1-6), and for your other New York State initial certificate(s).

You want to complete your master’s degree full time in 15 months (summer/fall/spring/summer);

Or, you want the option to attend on a part-time basis.

With full-time study (9 credits or more), you would like to take advantage of a 33% reduction in tuition with the High Needs Scholarship.
