Graduate Programs

Teaching and Leadership prepares educators to foster active learning and academic achievement among all students in inclusive environments. Our graduates serve as principled leaders and advocates for students in their schools, communities and professions. We are home to programs in undergraduate and graduate teacher preparation, graduate preparation in school leadership, and doctoral programs that prepare teacher educators and researchers as leaders in their field.

Master's Degree Programs

Our programs are designed to prepare educators who will gain and use knowledge of educational theories and research, technology, and subject content to promote active learning and excellence in all the students; work effectively and equitably with students with a variety of backgrounds and abilities; and develop their own theories of practice, reflect on and assess their own and their students’ work, and continually improve their practice.  For more information, please visit our Master's Degree Programs.

Certificate of Advanced Study Programs

The Department of Teaching in Leadership offers multiple Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) programs.  For more information on each individual program, please visit our page of Certificate of Advanced Study Programs

Doctoral Programs

Our doctoral programs prepare teacher educators to conduct scholarship and research in curriculum, instruction, and school leadership to preserve on-going professional development for teachers and leaders. For more information, please visit our Doctoral Degree Programs
