The required courses address the curriculum areas outlined in the CAS Standards for Graduate Preparation in Student Affairs. Consistent with CAS Standards and our commitment to connect theory to practice, we require students to immerse themselves in an array of practical field experiences in diverse higher education settings. W require students secure experiences that provide sustained student involvement with underrepresented students (e.g. first generation, students of color, students from working class backgrounds, students with disabilities, under-prepared students) through practicum experiences and accompanying seminar.
Full-time students are required to enroll for a minimum of two years. Part-time students take a minimum of 9 credits/year.
